Kick back, relax, and let us handle the ride! The Queenstown Ski Bus is the easiest way to get to Coronet Peak or The Remarkables. With regular, convenient departures from locations around Queenstown, you can enjoy the views, skip the queues & the parking hassle, and arrive ready to hit the slopes.
Daily, starting from the centre of Queenstown (9 Duke St) at 7:30am with other stops along the way.
Coronet Peak & The Remarkables
Kick back, relax, and let us handle the ride! The Queenstown Ski Bus is the easiest way to get to Coronet Peak or The Remarkables. With regular, convenient departures from locations around Queenstown, you can enjoy the views, skip the queues & the parking hassle, and arrive ready to hit the slopes.
Daily departures: Buses start from the centre of Queenstown (9 Duke St) at 7:30am. If you’re heading to The Remarkables from 9.45am, most buses depart from the Frankton Golf Course Bus Stop.
Round-trip: to Coronet Peak or The Remarkables on your selected date. Any unused portions will expire.
You must book: Choose your departure time, destination and bus stop when booking. If you select a stop other than central Queenstown, please note the estimated departure time.
Catching the bus: When you're at the Bus Stop that you have booked, please signal to the Ski Buses to stop. Some Ski Buses may already be full or on a different route so will continue driving past, but if you are at your booked Bus Stop at the designated time and on the right side of the road, then when signaled your booked Ski Bus will stop to collect you.
Allocated passes: Each Ski Bus pass is assigned to one guest. Please have your MyPass card or confirmation barcode available when boarding.
Have a lesson?
- Coronet Peak Ski Bus: please reserve the 7.30am or 8am departure.
- The Remarkables Ski Bus: please reserve the 7:30am departure.
Delays: During peak periods, adverse weather days or due to other circumstances outside of our control we may experience delays. Check our snow reports online and stay at your stop, we know you are there and will collect you as soon as we can.
Please note that Ski Bus will not be available from 09 - 12 September 2026 due to Snow Machine festival.
How to Book & Reschedule
- Review our Transport Map - Ski Buses to Coronet Peak and The Remarkables travel in different directions along different routes.
- Choose your pickup location (bus stop) during checkout.
- If you buy online, please have your confirmation email with Barcode available when boarding. Alternatively, collect your MyPass Card from the Snow Centre at 25 Shotover St before boarding.
- Bus bookings for each departure close 5 minutes before the first pickup time.
The Remarkables Ski Bus: Schedule:
- Pickups: From 9 Duke St, half hourly 7:30am to 9am, then last at 11am; from Frankton, 7:45am to 11.15am.
- Returns: Start from 1:30pm as buses fill. For a smoother ride down, consider leaving before the 3:30pm rush.
Coronet Peak Ski Bus Schedule:
- Pickups: From 9 Duke St, 7:30am to 11am, depending on demand there may be some other departure time during peak season.
- Returns: Start from 1pm as buses fill.
Coronet Peak Night Ski Bus Schedule:
- Wednesdays, Fridays, and July School Holiday Saturdays.
- Departures: From 9 Duke St at 12pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm.
- Returns: Coronet Peak to 9 Duke St at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, and 9pm.
Ski Bus passes are valid only for the date, time, pickup location, and destination booked. You can change your booking before your scheduled departure time, subject to availability.
Rescheduling an online booking
- Log in to your account
- Go to Profile → Overview → Order History
- Select your order and click Details
- Open Reservations and choose Reschedule
- Select a new date or time

All changes must be made before departure and are subject to availability.
Faqs
Be at your booked Ski Bus pickup point on time. If you’re late, the bus won’t wait.
Buses may arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled time due to earlier stops.
When you’re at your booked stop, signal clearly to any passing Ski Bus. Some buses may be full or on a different route, but your booked bus will stop if you’re at the correct location, on the correct side of the road, and at the right time.
Booked through a third party? Double-check your pickup location, time, date, and mountain before heading out.
Return trips are valid same day only. Buses depart The Remarkables from 1:30pm onwards on a first-come, first-served basis.
Need to change your booking? You can reschedule before your departure time online.
