Can I share a private lesson with family or friends?

Yes. Private lessons are a great option for families or small groups who want to learn and progress together.

Our Full Day Private Lessons can accommodate up to six people, making them ideal for larger groups of friends or families looking to spend the whole day on the mountain with an instructor. Half Day Private Lessons are available for groups of up to four, offering a shorter session while still giving plenty of time for personalised coaching.

For families, the Premium Family Private is designed specifically for groups of up to four guests and focuses on creating a relaxed, fun and supportive day on the mountain. You'll be paired with an instructor experienced in coaching family groups, who will tailor the session so each person can progress at their own level.

What types of Ski & Snowboard Lessons are available at The Remarkables?

The Remarkables offers a range of ski and snowboard lessons for different ages and abilities. Options include group lessons, private lessons, kids lessons, performance camps and specialist programmes.

Group lessons are a great way to learn alongside others at a similar level, while private lessons offer more personalised coaching for individuals, families or small groups. For experienced skiers and riders looking to push their skills further, performance camps and specialist programmes focus on advanced technique and freeride progression.

Whether you're stepping onto snow for the first time or refining your turns, there's a lesson to match your goals.

Should I book in advance?

Yes, booking ahead is recommended. Lessons & Packages can be in high demand during weekends and school holidays, so reserving your package or lesson early helps secure your spot.

Please note: Rentals are not available to book in advance and are issued on a first in, first served basis. However, you can save time by purchasing your rental products online in advance, collecting your MyPass card from Guest Services or our Kiosks then head in to see our Rentals team on the mountain who will get you fitted and ready for a fun day on the snow.

How do instructors keep lessons safe?

Our Snowsports team is made up of certified professionals with top-tier training. Every lesson is structured to match your ability, comfort level, and conditions on the day. We start with clear safety briefings, keep group sizes manageable, and focus on steady progression - from first balance to first carve.

You'll also learn the Snow Responsibility Code along the way, so you're not just riding better, but riding with awareness of others on the mountain.
