Local area for the Queenstown Lake District includes: Queenstown, Arrowtown, Gibbston Valley, Glenorchy, Kingston, Wanaka, Tarras, Cromwell, Clyde, Alexandra, Hawea and Makarora. T&Cs apply.

Local area for Mt Hutt includes: All residents living between the Rakaia and Rangitata rivers. E.g. Ashburton, Methven, Rakaia, Hinds, Mt Sommers.

How it Works: Locals Day Passes are sold in a pending state and proof of local residency must be sited by NZSki prior to using your pass. You can validate your pass in two ways:

1 - Pre-validation online: Please complete this form prior to 12pm, Friday 2 October. Our team will review and if eilgibile activate your product.

2 - Visit Guest Services: Visit the team at the Queenstown Snow Centre or on-mountain Guest Services. Please note, queue times may vary.

3 - Collect your MyPass Card: Please note you will need an RFID card which is called a Mypass to access the lifts, collect rental equipment and check in for Snowsports lessons.

If you already have a MyPass card from previous years and it's assigned to the account you purchased your production on - too good, head straight to the lifts.

To collect a new MyPass card, head along to our Kiosks on the mountain near Guest Services, in Queenstown Snow Centre or Queenstown Airport at baggage claim. Scan the barcode on your confirmation email receipt to print your card, then head to the lifts.

Locals Days cannot be used with any other promotion or discount.
