Join the Spring Shred Challenge! Earn rewards for skiing Coronet Peak and The Remarkables in Queenstown and Mt Hutt in Canterbury. The challenge is open to guests that use valid lift passes between 1st September and the end of the 2019 ski season! 

To track and earn your rewards you will need to register your MyPass card and ensure your details are up to date and you’re opted in to receive newsletters from us so we can let you know when you’ve achieved each reward.

RULES OF THE GAME

Register or Update Your MyPass

To track and earn your rewards you will need to register your MyPass card and ensure your details are up to date.

If you are already registered, you can sign in and check that your email is up to date and ‘opt in’ to our email communications.

If you are not registered, or you need to re-register, please grab your MyPass card and enter your details. Your webcode is the 9-digit alpha-numeric code under your name on the back of your Mypass card. You will need a unique email address for your online profile, you can no longer share an email address across multiple profiles on our webstore.

To update your details, simply sign in to your MyPass account through the padlock icon in the top navigation, proceed to “My Account,” then “Customer Info.” Confirm your email is up to date, then scroll down and tick the box to receive offers and updates from us - this way we can let you know when you’ve earned a reward!

I’ve bought my Spring Pass when can I start to use it?

Your Spring Pass is valid from the 1st September through till the end of the season, snow and weather conditions permitting. Coronet Peakhas extended it's closing day to Sunday 6th October (note closed on Mon 30th September), The Remarkables and Mt Hutt are scheduled to close on the 13th October. 

Do you have to do a certain number of runs to qualify for one day in the challenge?

No, there are no minimum runs required. One scan on any chairlift gate with your MyPass card is enough to count as one day.

How do I redeem my prize?

Once you earn a prize, it will be automatically loaded onto your Mypass card. You will receive an email to let you know the prize has been uploaded.

Please note you will need to register online as mentioned above and "opt in" to receive email promotional offers from us to receive these reward notification emails. Sometimes our communications fall into the junk folders, so if you have registered and are not receiving our emails, please check your junk folder and add us to your safe sender’s list.

Alternatively, you can check your rewards with our Guest Service team on the mountain.

Can I redeem my reward on the same day that I scan?

Rewards will be available for redemption on your next subsequent visit. We will email you your reward the morning after your lift scan and it will be available for you to redeem right away.

Can I redeem the prizes at any mountain?

Absolutely! Once you’ve earned a prize it can be redeemed at The Remarkables, Coronet Peak or Mt Hutt. Please note the 1 hour private lesson will need to be booked in advance through our Guest Services Team.

When I redeem my Day 3 reward can I choose between a hot drink and the UHT milk?

Pass holders 17 years and under will be rewarded one Meadow Fresh UHT Flavoured Milk, either chocolate or strawberry.

Pass holders 18 years and older will be rewarded one hot drink.

When I redeem my Day 6 reward, do I have to have a Coke?

The Coke reward can be a Coca-Cola product from the 600ml carbonated beverage range, including Coke, Coke Zero, Coke No Sugar, Vanilla Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, or L&P.

When I redeem my Day 9 reward, do I have to spend the $20 all at once?

No. You can spend the $20 over multiple purchases and the credit will deduct until you reach a $0 balance. The full amount must be spent before the end of the 2019 season and will not roll to the 2020 season.

What if I don’t spend all $20 by the end of the season, will the balance roll over to the 2020 season?

No. The full $20 must be spent by the end of the 2019 season. Any remaining funds after the close of our mountains will be forfeited.  

Is the $20 credit the same as MyPass money?

No. The $20 credit is different to MyPass money. It can be applied toward any mountain product in Retail, Guest Services, or the Restaurants/Cafes at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, and Mt Hutt.  The credit is non-transferable and not able to be exchanged for cash. This reward must be redeemed by the end of the 2019 season.

I won’t be in New Zealand for the 2020 season, can I give the $50 off my season pass to my friend, or exchange it for cash?

No. The $50 discount can only be applied to a 2020 Season Pass for the named pass holder who earned the rewards.  It is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other product or offer, nor redeemed for cash. It is also not applicable to Super Senior, 5 and under, or Local School passes.

I’m a Super Senior, or my child is 5 and under, can we redeem the $50 off a season pass for cash?

No. The $50 off a 2020 season pass is not applicable to Super Senior, 5 and under, or Local School passes. It is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other product or offer, nor redeemed for cash. 

How long is the private lesson?

The private lesson is a 1 hour private lesson.Lesson times are subject to availability and must be booked in advance with our Guest Services team. Lesson must be redeemed by 1st July 2020.

What if I can’t commit to the private lesson before July 2020?

You will forfeit the lesson. Lessons are subject to availability on the day so please book with Guest Services in advance.
