The Remarkables Mini Shred #2
Calling all kids 12 and under! Come out and show us your coolest tricks in the beginner park! This event is co-hosted by Snow Sports NZ new National Slopestyle Series where athletes can generate their own bio page online & work towards combining their national points from each event through the season!
Talk like a Pirate Day
On the 19th of September the Remarkables Ski Field will be hosting its annual Pirate Day in conjunction with the International Talk like a Pirate Day.
The Remarkbles Slopestyle #2 U14 and open
The Region’s best Skiers and Snowboarders will compete for a spot on the podium while enjoying a fun and progressive session in Remark’s Parks. Freestyle tricks over jumps and rails are scored by a panel of 3 judges with scores based on execution, difficulty & overall impression. Prizes are presented for 1st–3rd in each division for ski & snowboard. Helmets must be worn by all competitors.
This Junior Alpine Racing event is often the very beginning of an alpine skiers’ career. The series of races are intended to develop and encourage youth ski racing in NZ. Entry is through Snowsports NZ and is open to any child U8-U16. Please note this is a ski only event, snowboarders should check out the Minishred events.
