Snow Fest: DOWNTOWN RAIL JAM 2026

After last year’s success, we’re bringing the Rail Jam back to downtown Queenstown. 

Local riders take on a large rail setup in the heart of Queenstown, with food trucks and family‑friendly entertainment bringing winter energy downtown.

  • Date: Friday 29 May 2026
  • Location: Ballarat and Stanley Street carpark
  • Riders check-in from 3 PM
  • Open to public from 5 PM
  • Open to intermediates/experts

Expect the lights, the music, the crowd, and the best riders throwing down their skills on a custom-built setup. 

Think you’ve got the skills? 

Sign up for your chance to ride – entry is FREE! All riders must be intermediate or experts. 

How to Enter: 

  1. Sign up online and pick the correct category
  2. Sign the event waiver
  3. See you on 29 May 2026! 

Important Information: 

  • Helmets are compulsory
  • Only riders with the proven skills will be allowed to participate – safety first!
  • Must be comfortable on intermediate terrain and riding the park to participate.

Parking: 

To support parking in town, there will be FREE PARKING for 100 cars at the Man Street Carpark on Friday 29 May from 3pm-10pm.

Simply park up, then head to the info tent at the Rail Jam to grab a parking pass before you leave.
